Valais is beautiful and has so much to offer – wine, sunshine, warmth. Mountains, natural wonders, snow. Warm-hearted people and deliciously aromatic cheese.
But when it comes to plastic surgeons – commonly referred to as beauty or cosmetic surgeons – Valais has a shortage.
Fortunately, there’s the Lötschberg Base Tunnel, a 34.6 km passage beneath the Alps. In less than an hour, you can travel from Visp via Spiez and Thun to Bern. Once in Bern, cross the Bahnhofplatz, and you’ll find yourself at my plastic surgery practice.
Your first consultation with me is free of charge – it only costs you time. And I take my time for you and your needs, whether it’s a breast augmentation, breast reduction, eyelid lift, wrinkle treatment, or any other aesthetic or reconstructive procedure.
In a personal consultation, I also enjoy learning more about you as a person. Where do you live? What do you do professionally or in your free time? What brings you joy and is important in your life?
For me, this is part of a comprehensive consultation. In addition to your medical history, I also consider – where relevant – your personal circumstances when recommending a treatment plan.
Valais has captured my heart
Valais has captured my heart
I have felt deeply connected to Valais since the 1990s. Back then, my father bought a property in Crans-Montana. He loved skiing – just like I do.
And so, for the past 30 years, I have travelled to Crans-Montana frequently. In the early days, often with friends. New Year’s Eve parties were legendary. My milestone 30th and 40th birthdays were just as memorable.
Sadly, my father is no longer with us. But the property remains. Now, I travel there more often with my family. The wild parties have been replaced by cosy gatherings, but the ski slopes still call me.

Crans-Montana is a place filled with wonderful memories for me. But I also associate Zermatt and Saas-Fee with remarkable professional and personal experiences. Valais has captured my heart.
Now, I regularly treat patients from Valais – locals as well as tourists. Every time a patient tells me in a consultation that they’ve just come from Valais, it brings a smile to my face.
Welcome to Bern and to my practice. But first, let’s talk about you – and about Valais.
